Other factors that may affect the timescales between inspections could be the number of users that any particular items has, as it's often found that these items deteriorate faster and have the larger chance to cause damage. As a general rule we would suggest as a rule a scheduled inspection to be programmed in 1 month before your buildings and contents insurance is due, ensuring you have a current valid certificate to ensure compliance with and small print. Any additional high use or vulnerable equipment can be diarised for re testing at this point. |
