During the visual inspection part of the test, if our engineer spots a potential fault then they will replace the cable or plug free of charge, to ensure a pass on the test. Any failed items that are replaced, will be removed from site and a note made in the data base to high light trends.

Items that fail the PAT Test

Any items failing the test will be removed from service for safety and a full written report issued. If the repair is a simple cable or plug top repair, then the repairs and a pass will be issued during your inspection visit at no extra cost. Cost advices will be given in the report along with the potential causes for any issue that can not be resolved that day on site.
